难忘的背书

“叮铃铃……”上课铃响了,同学们从操场冲回教室,迅速坐得端端正正,等待老师上课。
语文老师迈着轻快的步子走进教室,在讲台前坐下,微笑着宣布:“同学们,这节课我们来背诵《匆匆》。谁能流利地背完整篇课文,老师就奖励一根棒棒糖。”一听说背书有奖励,全班顿时沸腾起来,个个摩拳擦掌,跃跃欲试。
不一会儿,教室里的说笑声、打闹声都化作了琅琅书声。我也不甘示弱,打开课本大声背诵起来。可是课文实在太长了,总是背到后面忘了前面。墙上的时钟滴答作响,仿佛在催促着我们加快速度。不知不觉半节课过去,同学们的背诵声越发响亮,整个教室像炸开了锅,震得我耳朵都快聋了。
同学们陆陆续续上台背书给老师听,我更加惶恐不安,担心这堂课不能完成背书任务,更担心棒棒糖没有我的份。可我越急越背不得,特别是其中有一个段落就像是一座大山,任凭我如何努力都翻越不过去。
上台背书的同学越来越多,我心急如焚,好像有二十五只老鼠在胸——百爪挠心,又如热锅上的蚂蚁——团团转。
“还有谁没有来背书呀?还剩最后十分钟!”老师的话让我顿时喘不过气来。我快马加鞭背着,可始终翻不过那座“山”。
“叮铃铃……”下课铃响了,老师点那些背得课文的同学的名字,然后给他们发棒棒糖。他们拿到战利品,一脸的得意洋洋。而我却像被霜打过的茄子,耷拉着脑袋……
这真是一堂难忘的背书课啊。
